So, you want before and afters do you? Well, I don't have a lot of befores. I tend to avoid having my lower half of my body photographed! But, here you can see me wearing a skirt two months ago at CHA and that same skirt on me today.
I know my eyes are closed in this photo. I think that's because I was afraid to look! But here's what I look like today. No photography tricks were used in the shooting of this photo! I am facing straight on, Eric is shooting at my level, not above.
Now, that we got that out of the way. Here is a fabulous take on a shadow box by Natasja Verbeek using Honey Pie! Who would have thought that an old book could turn out so cool!
Now, onto some particulars:
1. That painting project I started on Tuesday...... well, it is dry now, but I don't think I'll have time to get back to it until this weekend. Sorry for the delay! If it had dried that day, it would have been done, but that was the day I had time to do it. Now, I have a bunch of other stuff on my plate (to use another P word). I promise to get back to it soon!
2. The new Cogsmo Fabric should be at your local quilt shop in early June! I know that some of you have had difficulty finding our line of fabric and so, I am happy to announce that you will be able to purchase our fabric, wholesale and retail, on our site in about four weeks! We will have more details for you on how this will work in the near future! We expect it to be a winning situation for everyone involved!!
3. Something else will be happening in the next four weeks. I cannot say what it is yet, but stay tuned to this blog if you want to be among the first to know!
Now, onto today's prize. Eric and I have been so busy getting our new lines started for the July CHA release. We think that there may be room for one more line in that release. Tell us what you would like to see. Retro, Modern, Hip, Vintage, Dainty, Grungy....... let us know! Pirates, Cowboys, Fairies, Princesses, Porcupines, Puppies........ let us know. Yellow, Purple, Fuschia, Brights, Pastels....... well, you get the idea. If you do let us know, we will enter you into a contest to win a Girl Friday and Snorkel paper crafting kit! It will be a random drawing and so we make no promises to design the line that the winner requests!!!!!
