Good morning everyone! I am in the best mood today. It seems that spring has finally hit Cache Valley. The birds are singing, my strawberries are turning red and I actually completed a workout!!!! Yeah Me!
Don't you just love when the sun comes out and energizes you!!!
When I am in a mood like this, I often bake a pie to take to my favorite neighbor..... nope, not Lindsay...... but our mutual friend John. John is the nicest guy you could ever meet. Eric tells me he is in his seventies, but I don't believe it. He's got more energy than myself! Anyway, I like to take him goodies not only because he tells me that my eyes sparkle and I look pretty when I smile, but he pretends my cooking is the best ever even when the pie is runny or the brownies are over-baked.
In fact, John and I exchange recipes all the time. This started one day when I happened to mention that I was making sandwiches for dinner. A conversation about my lack of skill in the kitchen quickly ensued as John told me it's his own cooking that keeps him so skinny. (He was making Ramen Noodles that night with cabbage and peas added in.) We have been friends in the slaughter of culinary arts ever since!
Anyway, if I were to take something to John, I might make a cute card to go with it. And, it just so happens, that I've seen a lot of cute cards lately!

Do you ever meet someone that you seem to have nothing in common with to find you are two peas in a pod? Do you have a favorite neighbor that you love? Is there someone that just makes you happy? Send them a card, take them some flowers from your garden, bake them a goodie or just call them up and tell them they are great!
Now, for today's winners...... by the way, Lindsay pointed out that my giveaway got fewer contestants than his. I told him it was because you all couldn't think of why you would possibly want to win him. I stumped ya'! ;) Anyway, congratulations:
April W who said, "I'd love to win Lindsay!! The perfect man...sometimes forgetful...so if I ever did something wrong (which seriously wouldn't happen...helllllo, I'm a woman after all!), he'd forget later on anyway. LOL!!! Just kidding Lindsay!!!"
Jamie Sherman who said, "Lindsay would be a great prize! We could go around my town and make those silly videos he loves to make."
Patty who said, "I like his fondness for mice. That's a good laugh in itself. His videotaping leaves room for improvement and maybe I could help him there. He could help me select what would work well together in my layouts."
All you women need to send your info to kristen at cosmocricket dot com and we'll send you your prize..... it won't be Lindsay, but trust me..... that could be a good thing! ;)
