The Cosmo Cricket blog usually stars myself, Lindsay or our fans. Eric is rarely in the limelight, which is just the way he likes it! But today is his birthday, and I thought I would pay a tribute to him. Starting with his self portrait!
Most of you probably don't realize just how much Eric contributes to your hobby. Without him, Mr. Campy would have had no marshmallow man. Material Girl would have just been Material. And, can you even imagine Early Bird without the happy toaster?!?!?! Besides drawing 90% of our chipboard shapes, Eric has also designed several of our most popular papers. Take a look at some of his creations I'm sure you've seen before.
Now onto the artwork you most likely haven't seen. The stuff that Eric loves to draw, but is deemed to "fringe" for your tastes. Here's a piece he did for fun called Road Trip. It was the inspiration for Joy Ride.
Eric loves Alphabets, as you may have noticed! He draws all our hand done lettering and alphas like Wack-a-do. He also does lots that you never see!!! The first is a poster he made for Jack's bedroom called Font Friends.

So here's to Eric, my hubba-hubba-hubby, fantastic father of the fabulous four and one super cool and artsy guy! I'm not the only one here wishing him a happy birthday though! Take a look at what the DT did for him.
