The highlight of my spring break was driving and hour and half to the hair salon where Oscar works and getting my hair cut. Eric thought it would be a fun idea to video tape my adventure and make it into a movie for the blog...... I don't know that I agree with him.
Also, let me add that I have been in no way compensated for my endorsement of Oscar. I love him to death..... he has cut my hair for the last 13 years and I would do just about anything for him because he is so nice. In fact, once when I was a volunteer mentor for a group of teenage girls, he let us come down to the salon after hours where he did a complete makeover on one girl who was struggling with her self esteem....... everything from foil coloring to haircut to eyebrow shaping and make-up. All the other girls got consultations.
So, I was not surprised at all when he agreed to let us come in and film him cutting my hair. Now, just a few notes about this video.
1. Eric made it, not me. In fact, Eric made me do it.
2. I am wearing four inch heals. I'm tall, but not quite as tall as I look here.
3. Yes, I am that pale naturally.
4. Yes, I always laugh that much.
5. For some reason that Eric can't figure out, this movie is a bit stretched... in other words, my head isn't really that elongated. (Why am I posting this again?!?!)
6. After leaving the salon, I was trying to walk like the girls in the Vidal Sassoon commercials. I almost fell, but we cut that part out of the movie.
Now, sit back and enjoy! (Double click the black box and it will start.)
