Hello…any one here?!
Since high jacking seems to be the trend this week, we couldn’t stay behind! We managed to team up with gym girl who did some major investigation for us! As you can see she succeeded in getting her hands on Julie’s account and here we are, the Cosmo Cricket design team on the Cosmo Cricket blog!
Sssttt, please keep your excitement down a bit; we do not want Julie and Lindsay to find out we are taking over this weblog in the weekend.
From now on you can find us here on Saturdays to show you our tips & tricks, stories behind projects, spotlights and our most favorite Cosmo Cricket projects made be YOU!
But before we start with bringing you some Cosmo fun to get through the weekends, let’s start of with a proper introduction of ourselves.
My name is Laura Craigie and I am happily married to my hubby of 6yrs, and we have 2 amazing little boys together. I made my first scrapbook when we started dating 10yrs ago. Then I got back into the hobby when my oldest son was born in 2005. It's been full steam since then, although I've now moved on to primarily cards, and keep my personal scrapbook pages very simple. I really love working with the small "canvas" of cards, and find they suit my shorter attention span that having little kids has given me. I try to keep my cards cheery, and a bit whimsical, and always hope they can bring a smile to the recipient.
My name is Yukari Takanashi I live in Tokyo, Japan. I am 38 years old and have been married for 5 years now. We have two children, our son named Ryo (4 years old) and our 2 year old daughter Rena.
Before I got married I worked as a beautician. I started scrapbooking in 2005 after my son was born. I was introduced to scrapbooking by a friend who gave a class and now I am addicted.
Now days I work as a scrapbooking instructor myself. At this moment I teach an online class in Japan and teach 150 to 200 people every month.
My name is Debbie Olson, living in the pristine Upper Peninsula of Michigan with my husband, who is incredibly tolerant of my many creative pursuits, and our fabulous ten-year-old son. I have always adored Cosmo Cricket papers and am delighted to have the opportunity to work on the design team. My paper and ink obsession blossomed when I begun my paper crafting blog Thinking Inking in September 2006, and I have been blessed since then to work for several major paper crafting companies, never lacking in an abundance of raw materials for creativity. I enjoy card making, primarily, but have fun with mini albums and altered art on occasion as well. When I am not creating, blogging, or working on publication assignments, I am home schooling; it makes for a full and interesting life!
Busy mom to 4 wonderful kids. Married to the most fantastic husband. Live in Oslo, the capital of Norway. Full time Paperlover, designer, artist, scrapbooker, and scrapbooking-teacher. Proud member of Cosmo Cricket design team. Love it! "
Hi there! I’m Wendy Sue Anderson and I have been a scrapbooker since I could hold a pair of scissors - honestly! I grew up with a very creative mother and she passed her love of creating and crafting on to me. There’s not a day that goes by when you won’t find me doing something creative…or at least thinking about it! I’m hoping my four cute kiddos are as passionate about creating as I am – so far, so good. Right now I’m having lots of fun designing for some of my very favorite scrapbook companies and I’ve been blessed to have several of my projects published in some fabulous magazines and idea books as well. I’m having so much fun working with the great products and people associated with Cosmo Cricket!!
Hi, my name is Natasja Verbeek and I live together with my husband to be and our 5 year old girl in the Netherlands, the country of tulips, windmills and Julie’s ancestors. I started scrapbooking back in 2001 after seeing something about it on television, since than I became a part of my life. So lucky that Jacob is really supportive about my scrapbooking. I am proud to say that since than many of my projects have been published in European magazines. In 2008 I became a designteam member for Cosmo Cricket and I love everything about it! The products are awesome, just like the people behind it!
My name is Amy Parker, and I live with my husband and 2 1/2 year old daughter on the Central Coast of California. I have been scrapbooking for almost 3 years now and am just as in love as the day I started! I sorta fly by the seat of my pants with styles, which I think is really fun to do! It lets you express so much in lots of different ways. Crafting is therapeutic for me, so it is something that I have to do almost everyday. I am a SAHM, so when I am not picking up little toys my daughter has thrown everywhere, or cleaning house (which I am horrible at-just ask my husband!!), then I am crafting my heart away.
