I made this card over the weekend with our soon to be released Creative Girl and Simple Surfaces papers, a snippit of our Shimmer Trims velvet and a sticker from our new Tiny Text woodgrain phrase sheet.
Yes, it was a bit tedious, but the results are AMAZING!
I used 1/2" squares which give a lovely result, but if you're a little less patient, just increase the size of your squares so that there are less to fold.
Each square was folded in half. This is most easily done by taking the back edge of your craft knife and drawing diagonally from point to point. There's no need to be exact, just free-hand it. Then you can just pinch them into a fold. Adhere one half only making the pattern of your choice as you go along. If your math turns out to be slightly less than perfect, add a border, or just cut off the excess, like me (start from the folded edge, if this is your plan).
Now go, have fun and make something special!
