I always feel excited for these reveals, but this time it feels almost like the start of an entirely new company. I hope you like the direction we have taken things. Being terribly biased, I am loving it!
Before we get to the goods, let me say that we will have tons of projects, videos and tutorials in the near future showing you how all this works !
Let's start with our Show Toppers, because they just might be my favorites of the new products. Who loves mason jars? I do! I want to display cute photos, tags, christmas cards and other ephemera that match the fun stuff I fill the jar with. I want to organize my buttons in jars with cute vintage lids. I want to give my neighbors gifts that will make them swoon. So, I designed these fun lids to fit all wide mouth jars.
And, just in case you love hanging things inside jars, like I do, we put an eyelet on the underside of the lid and made these fun mobile hangers to hook inside.
I also wanted a way to display the wall quilts, my kid's art, layouts and seasonal decor. So, these vintage hangers were on my must have list for new products!
But, we have to have paper! I hope you love Creative Girl. This line is about myself coming through all the stuff life could think to throw my way. I made it through and found my creative self waiting for me on the other side. I LOVE this line more than words can express!
And is it too early to talk about our new holiday line, Chalkboard Cheer? I just had to try my hand at chalk art. I wanted to do it my way, over colored chalkboard backgrounds, with completely hand drawn designs (yep, I said hand drawn!). You can even see the individual strokes. I hope you like it!
The above lines are in 8" mini deck sizing, so for creating 12" pages, you'll want to pair them with our Simple Surfaces Deck. My favorite thing about this deck are the glitter printed vellum papers. Heaven! I love to layer them over patterned paper with a die-cut window. You have to see this one in person, because we just can't do it justice in digital form!
Do you see that navy glittered clip? Well, the wearer of such a clip won't have to worry about loose bits of glitter getting in her hair because it was made with our Adhesive Glitter Sheets. There are three color skus: Crystal Lake featuring Navy, Royal and Sky blue, Tinsel Town with Silver, Gold and Copper and Starlet with Burgandy, Red and Pink. Each one features sticky backed glitter that can be cut with scissors, paper trimmers and die-cutting machines like the Sizzix. They make glittering quick, fun and absolutely mess free.... It won't shed a single glitz!
With all this new found creative mojo, I wanted a surface to express it with. Our line of Creative Canvases is just that. These shaped canvases are smooth board on one side (perfect for collage and mixed-media) and gessoed canvas on the other side (perfect for paint!). The hexagons are super fun to put together and I should know, I have made 52 of them for our CHA booth display. But that's nothing, I have done 63 of the triangles. The hearts and tags will get done tomorrow... or something like that!
And last, but not least, let's talk embellishments. We have Canvas Brads (Kate says these are her favorite set yet), Vintage Gems, Wood Charms (complete with button and/or hanging holes), Shimmer Trims and..... that's all folks!
